Norton Pest Company--Nice company; very knowledgeable; remembers to call you to set up
needed appt.; Only $75 per service, which we have twice a year. When we added a huge out
building, treated it also, but did not add to the bill.
Howington Heating & Air--AC died. Technician came out the next day and had us with air almost
immediately. It was in the middle of July, so very important. Service fee was $85 plus, the $50 part.
Yonah Propane Gas Company--super company; We were allowed to run out of gas by another
company (Blossman's) who promised me that they would never allow me to run out of gas. On a 26
degree morning-we were totally empty. It was the weekend--David from Yonah came out and
hooked us up to an emergency tank until Monday morning. He did not leave until he was sure we
had heat. Since then, they have kept us in gas.
Alton Fry out of Demorest--he and his father Alton, Sr. do beautiful rock work. They are reasonable
and give you the total before they begin. They are comfortable working with real stone as well as
working with manufactured stone. Very honest workers.
Hal Dowdy-State Farm agent and his office staff were very knowledgeable about combining our
policies, etc. to get the best policy and ratings. We contacted several other insurance companies,
but they did not bother with answering their e-mails or phone messages!
